New Dawn!

New Dawn Centre for Research and Graduate Studies will offer life long learning to those interested in engaging communities to create and support the development of a culture of self-reliance and care through education and sustainable enterprise. Education and sustainable livelihoods are the driving forces in people regaining control over their work and their lives. New DawnÕs programs will consist of postgraduate degrees as well as certificate and diploma programs in specific areas of research and community application.
Working professionals are a key market focus for New DawnÕs planned program. In particular, New Dawn intends to attract those working in Early Learning, Education and other caring professions who are interested in deepening their own professional practice and in grounding their research in their own work in the community. The planned programs will build on the unique expertise of the Founders in areas such as Sound to Symbol Methodology, Learning through Singing, Orality, SelfDesign Learning, Knowledge Architecture, Community Theatre, Community Science, and Ecosystemics.

This is a photo of the first meeting of the New Dawn Univeristy planning group. We met in Harrison Hot Springs and worked with Jean Paul Froidevaux and Associates doing a Syntegration. We networked for 3 days to lay the foundational understandings for this new learning community.
